Winter is definitely the time for warm, comforting soups. All of the recipes used in this class are easy, straight forward, and possible for a beginner to repeat at home.
The class will make a variety of winter warmers including: Curried Butternut Soup, Three Lily Onion Soup, French Lentil Soup with Duck, Creamy Parsnip and Carrot Soup with fresh thyme, and Wild Rice Soup with chicken and fresh herbs and vegetables.
Students will also make some fresh corn bread and there will be Italian red and white wine to accompany the soup. Come hungry!
