Cooking from the Pantry and Freezer

Learn how to prepare a fabulous meal for last minute company from items easily stocked in the pantry and freezer. Enjoy a wonderful meal without having to make a special trip to the grocery store.

In this hands-on cooking class students will prepare: Lemony Bean Dip, Sauteed Olives, Spiced Shrimp, Microwaved Poached Salmon Salad, Pasta Puttanesca, Fresh Orange Salad, Port Compote, and Chocolate Pots de Creme.

We'll also talk about what makes a well stocked pantry, where to shop, and additional pantry recipes. All the recipes that we will prepare will be easy to make and easily repeatable at home. There will be a lot of food, so come hungry!
