Hasty Gourmet™: Steak

Learn to pan fry the prefect steak in less time than it takes the take-out to arrive and much less money than it costs to eat out.

Well talk about cuts of beef and cooking techniques.

Students will work in pairs to create a complete meal from appetizer to dessert using simple recipes requiring minimal cooking time and a limited number of ingredients.

Make seared sirloin steaks with rosemary carmelized onions, oven-roasted garlic potatoes, wilted spinach, and chocolate cover fruit.

The meal will be accompanied by a big red wine. Come hungry!
