Join chef Dagmar Smith and wine expert Mark Leighton for an evening of authentic Italian pasta dishes and wonderful Italian wines.
We'll start the meal with tortellini and sage butter served with an Orvieto white wine. There will be three more pastas served with zucchini salad, and three different regional red wines including wines from Tuscany and Piedmont.
Dagmar will demonstrate making pesto from scratch with fresh basil, and pasta putanesca from pantry ingredients.
We'll finish the meal with berry sabayon made with Marsala wine and served with Moscato d' Asti.
Not a hands-on cooking class, but a wine-tasting with some demonstration of how to prepare the delicious dishes you'll enjoy!
